1. Introduction
GamersVPN respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the GamersVPN Chrome Extension and how that information is handled.
The extension provides authenticated VPN proxy connections through selected GamersVPN server locations.
2. Information We Process
To provide and maintain the service, GamersVPN processes limited account and connection information, including:
- GamersVPN account username.
- Account authentication credentials.
- A generated device identifier.
- Selected VPN server location.
- Original IP address used to establish a VPN connection.
- Connection timestamps and authentication events.
- Technical connection information, including connection status and traffic-volume counters.
This information is used for authentication, account verification, subscription enforcement, service operation, security and troubleshooting.
3. Browsing Activity and Website History
GamersVPN does not collect or store your browser history or a record of websites you visit.
We do not operate a browsing-history database or use the extension to record the pages you visit.
The proxy infrastructure necessarily processes destination hostnames when establishing connections to websites. For HTTPS connections, traffic is forwarded through an encrypted tunnel and webpage contents are not decrypted by the inspected proxy service.
4. Website Content
GamersVPN does not intentionally collect the contents of webpages, messages, passwords entered on websites, browsing searches or files accessed through your browser.
5. Authentication and Account Information
When you connect, the extension sends authentication information to the GamersVPN service to verify your account and subscription.
Authentication information is transmitted over HTTPS to the GamersVPN API.
6. IP Address Checking
The extension uses the IP address checking service at api.ipify.org to verify your public IP address after connecting.
This request is used to confirm that the VPN connection is working.
7. Data Sharing
GamersVPN does not sell users’ personal information or browsing histories.
Information may be processed by hosting providers and infrastructure providers where necessary to operate, secure and maintain the VPN service.
8. Data Retention
Connection and authentication records may be retained for service operation, security and troubleshooting.
GamersVPN does not retain browsing histories or records of websites visited.
9. Security
GamersVPN uses encrypted connections and access controls to protect information processed by its services.
10. Children’s Privacy
The extension is not specifically directed at children and is intended for users who are permitted to use the service under applicable laws.
